Regional 5 – International Directors Farewell Podcast, PIEP's New Step in Welcoming The Global Competition

Jakarta - PT Pertamina Internasional Eksplorasi dan Produksi (PIEP) has conducted the Director’s of Regional 5 – Internasional Farewell Podcast which took place in the Picaso and Enerlife room of Patra Jasa Office Tower on Friday (07/07).

The Podcast was moderated by Wahyu Wiwoho, a producer and news anchor, with Jaffee A. Suardin as President Director of PIEP and John Anis as speakers. The event was attended both offline and online by PIEP Officers.

John Anis, PIEP’s President Director from 2020-2023 explained how the Covid Pandemic cause many challenges during his administration at PIEP.

"2020 was a tough year, where almost all the company’s Key Performance Indicators were in the red zone, and net loss was indicated with a very low revenue. Appreciation for all hard work and resilience of our officers in looking for opportunities and cost efficiencies that have made us rebound, and at the end of 2022, the performance has been improved.”

John Anis believed that under the leadership of Jaffee A. Suardin, PIEP can be more aggressive on the international stage.

“We must have the passion to be able to compete abroad and go global. We have the asset to achieve that, and I am sure that under Mr. Jaffee's leadership, PIEP can be more aggressive and sound again.”

Meanwhile, Jaffee A. Suardin emphasized how hospitality as an important key in strengthening relationships.

"PIEP must be very aggressive and massive, and striving to have big dreams that followed by action, for example, our strength in hospitality. Indonesians are known for their hospitality, and combined with strong technical and business capabilities, it would turned into an opportunity to create trust on the international stage.”

On that occasion, Jaffee A. Suardin did not forget to express his gratitude to John Anis for his contribution to PIEP.

"I would like to thank Mr. John Anis for his contribution to carry PIEP to this point with extraordinary achievements, and we all wish Mr. John the best of luck in his new assignment."
