PIEP Courtesy Visit to the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Jakarta - PT Pertamina Internasional EP (PIEP) made a visit to the Office of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday (30/05). The Director of PIEP, Jaffee Arizon Suardin met with the Director General for Asia Pacific & Africa, Abdul Kadir Jaelani and the Director for Africa, Baby Justicia Meidiwaty This meeting was held to introduce the new Director of PIEP and to discuss issues regarding the Tanzanian M&P transaction in Mnazi Bay assets. The process of determining deliverables was also carried out for the visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to African countries including Tanzania at the end of August 2023. The visit was carried out in preparation for the acquisition transaction made by M&P (Maurel & Prom) for Wentworth Resources. By holding a meeting, the transaction process can be approved by the Government of Tanzania and ensure that M&P is a company that is majority owned by PIEP. |
